Olivia Rodrigo Pays for Her Band and Crew to See Therapists While on Tour, Says Her Guitarist Daisy Spencer

Olivia Rodrigo's touring guitarist Daisy Spencer has revealed that the singer, 22, pays for her band and crew to have access to free therapy – both on and off tour. Spencer, 31, spoke about her experience working with the Grammy winner on 'The StageLeft Podcast' on June 30.

“And that reignited the importance of therapy to me because I had just kind of fallen off for so long, and then suddenly I had this free resource of incredible therapists, and I utilized the crap out of that.” Known for her nostalgic pop-rock music that explores the growing pains of young womanhood, Rodrigo previously told CBS Sunday Morning in 2021, "A lot of people think, listening to my music, that I'm a really sad, depressed person and that couldn't be farther from the truth." The "so american" singer's Guts World Tour has taken her across Asia, Australia, Europe, and North and South America from February 2024 until her current festival run, including her recent performance at Glastonbury alongside The Cure's Robert Smith.
