Oasis Share Live Recording of Fan Favorite From Comeback Show in Cardiff
Oasis has shared a live recording of 'Slide Away' from their comeback show in Cardiff, Wales on July 4.
The song’s artwork features a picture of punters at the show doing the “poznan,” a celebration adopted by fans of their beloved soccer team Manchester City which involves linking arms, facing away from the pitch and bouncing up and down. The group have reissued a number of live and acoustic recordings from the archive in the interim, including a demo of “Don’t Stop” (2020), first believed to have been written in 2005 by Noel Gallagher. On Wednesday (July 9), the group announced the release of a huge box set reissue of all seven studio albums (and B-side collection The Masterplan, 1998) on CD and vinyl.
