Nike and Amazon Set Livestream As Kenyan Track Star Faith Kipyegon Attempts to Break Four-Minute Mile

Here's where to tune into a livestream to watch Kenyan track and field star Faith Kipyegon attempt to be the first woman to break the four-minute mile

Kipyegon will actually attempt to dip below the 4:00 mark, which would make her the first woman to complete the threshold, which has been a long-held track standard since British runner Roger Bannister first ran a sub-four-minute mile in 1954. Nike has been backing Kipyegon’s training, and recently released a capsule collection of official merch in honor of the Olympic and World Champ’s (hopefully) record-breaking run. As a Nike release states, “In pursuing the landmark feat, she’ll push the limits of sport beyond what’s long believed to be achievable, setting the stage for future generations to dream big.”
