Nigeria & Brazil Ink Landmark Audiovisual Co-Production Agreement
Nigeria and Brazil have signed a co-production agreement which will allow both countries to jointly develop, fund and distribute film and TV projects.
Dubbed the Audiovisual Co-Production Agreement, the bilateral accord hopes to mark a new chapter in cultural collaboration, creative exchange global visibility for both nations. Brazil and Nigeria, which are the two most populous Black nations in the world, share deep historical ties rooted in transatlantic experience and the new agreement hopes to bring together talents from both countries through storytelling. “It affirms Nigeria’s commitment to telling stories on a global stage and working with like-minded nations to elevate African and Afro-Brazilian narratives.
