Nicole Scherzinger Says She 'Has Come Home' in Emotional Tony Awards Speech


Nicole Scherzinger won her first Tony Award for her role as Norma Desmond in 'Sunset Blvd,' delivering an emotional acceptance speech

Scherzinger was nominated against Megan Hilty, Audra McDonald, Jasmine Amy Rogers and Jennifer Simard for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical trophy. The 78th annual Tony Awards were held at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 8, where Ariana DeBose, Jessica Vosk, Megan Hilty and more Great White Way standouts slayed the red carpet. Scherzinger previously won the Olivier Award for her Sunset performance when the production played across the pond in London in 2024.
