Nick Lachey, the host and a recognized reality television personality, came to Instagram and more or less revealed the new cast, giving a wee bit of a tease on what is about to hit Netflix come August 1. “Perfect Match is back with a group of hot new reality stars,” he says before almost immediately dropping the famed: “Let the games begin.” The tease also hints that serious twists are in store with the addition of some first-timers to the Netflix roster. Meanwhile, at the same time, others didn’t immediately recognize the cast: An utterly confused newbie claimed to barely know half the shows these contestants hailed from, a solid proof of how deeply Netflix’s reality TV vein has gone.
