Netflix’s Fictional K-pop Group Just Beat a Real BTS Record

The Saja Boys from KPop Demon Hunters are stealing souls through Spotify.

It features real K-pop acts like Twice and MeloMance alongside fictional ones like Saja Boys, performed by a group of real-life singers: former K-pop Star contestant Andrew Choi, singer-producer Neckwav, YG Entertainment lyricist Danny Chung, former U-KISS member Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee (who previously released music as Taebot). Blackpink will reportedly debut a new song when their Deadline World Tour starts on July 5, though the release timing is unclear. Meanwhile, on July 1, BTS teased in a group livestream that they might be back to break the Saja Boys’ record on a “Spring Day” in 2026.
