Mark Cuban Claims He Was Courted as Kamala Harris' Running Mate

Mark Cuban revealed he was courted to be Kamala Harris' running mate during the 2024 election but declined, citing differences in approach

The Dallas Mavericks minority owner, 66, told the “Bulwark” podcast on Friday, June 20, that he was in touch with the Harris campaign before Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz was picked as her running mate in August 2024. He later confirmed on the “Ax Files” podcast in June 2020 that he went so far as to commission a sample poll pitting him against Trump and Joe Biden, but results showed he was “only able to get up to 25%” in a hypothetical three-way matchup. Ever since joining the show as a guest investor in season 2, Cuban, 66, has brought his business skills and honest feedback to hundreds of entrepreneurs hoping to receive an investment from the Dallas Mavericks owner.
