Malachi Beasley To Star Opposite Jamie Foxx In Netflix Sports Drama ‘Fight For ’84’
Sources are telling us that thespian-on-the-rise Malachi Beasley is starring opposite Jamie Foxx in the upcoming Netflix sports drama movie Fight for '84.
The project, directed by Andrés Baiz and written by Oscar nominees Andrea Berloff, John Gatins and White Boy Rick ‘s Andy Weiss, is set in 1980. The movie reunites producer Eric Newman and Andrés Baiz directing, the duo having previously teamed on the successful hit show Griselda for Netflix as well as Narcos. The Gersh and Door 24 Entertainment repped Beasley will soon be seen in Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow’s A House of Dynamite for Netflix, which his first job out of the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale.
