Sophie Lee has opened up about her health journey ahead of her Love Island appearance

A Love Island star who suffered horror burns that led to a keloid tumour has said she is lucky to be alive. According to Sophie, the surgery involved injecting liquid nitrogen into the tumour to freeze it, after which it "falls off and new skin is formed." After undergoing the procedure twice, the ITV star endured stages of steroid injections "to bring down any more sides of the scar.
