With the reduction in Islanders, we are entering the final week with four more or less serious relationships, plus one arranged marriage.
Aside from the gross miscarriage of justice that sent Taylor and Clarke home, the lessons of this week had generally positive outcomes, and Love Island USA has now officially returned to form. According to the votes revealed during the game, public loyalty to Olandria runs deep, but not so for Chelley, who finds herself on the business end of a popularity contest, possibly for the first time in her life. It took Ace a full month just to ask Chelley about her childhood, and it leads to a touching conversation where they both open up about growing up in poverty, which means that I could have been rooting for this relationship from the beginning.
