The Lonely Island's Jorma Taccone says not being on the boat with Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and T-Pain in the 'Saturday Night Live' digital short 'I'm on a Boat' is still a 'f---ing thorn in my side.'

Meyers asks the trio, observing that "it's label money" that made it "immediately" clear a major company was behind the massive scale of the video, which featured Schaffer and Samberg living it up on — you guessed it — a boat with T-Pain while shots of Taccone engaging in mundane, non-boat activities flashed on screen. "The reason I was out of town was because it was my anniversary," he says, referencing his marriage to Queen's Gambit actress and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood director Marielle Heller. The resulting music video sees Taccone spliced in with the rest of the clips, which feature Samberg and Schaffer partying with T-Pain as the titular boat traverses the ocean.
