Liam Gallagher Praises Fan Who Played ‘Wonderwall’ On Stage at Green Day Show


Liam Gallagher responded to a fan who played Oasis' "Wonderwall" on stage after being invited to perform "Good Riddance" with Green Day.

Liam Gallagher has weighed in after a fan brought on stage at a Green Day show played Oasis’ “Wonderwall” instead of the punk group’s “Good Riddance.” Someone posted a clip of the incident, which resulted in Billie Joe Armstrong booting the fan from the stage, on X, leading Gallagher to quip, “Best song of the night.” During the show, which took place in Luxembourg, Armstrong welcome a young man on stage to perform “Good Riddance” on the guitar, something that has become tradition at Green Day concerts. Earlier this week, Oasis announced a 30th anniversary deluxe edition of their seminal album, ( What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, which featured “Wonderwall.”
