The bill pays tribute to Trump-era tax cuts, increases domestic energy production, and places reforms on social safety net programs. “Making the Trump tax cuts permanent, increased deregulation of the energy sector, and reforming SNAP benefits so that help actually goes to those who need it are the key points of this bill.” Boebert also mentioned that the bill reduces the deficit by $1.5 trillion, but skeptics were quick to dismiss such a figure as sham.
