Late-Night Hosts Joke About Trump’s F-Bomb: ‘Talk About Dropping a Big Load’

Late-night hosts responded to Donald Trump's use of the f-word in an interview about the Israel-Iran conflict.

On Jimmy Kimmel Kimmel, guest host Diego Luna noted that “one of the worst parts of hosting a late-night show is that I have to keep up on what President Trump is doing every second.” He shared that he was forced to go on Truth Social for the first time and that while the situation in the Middle East is complicated “thankfully your president is a political genius.” A few seconds later he threatened to put both countries in a time out.” He added, “Thankfully, as of now, the ceasefire has held, and it’s about as stable as an Ikea cabinet with eight screws missing.” During his monologue on The Late Show, Stephen Colbert recapped the ceasefire news and the Republican reaction to Trump’s efforts, including claims that he could win the Nobel Peace Prize.
