Katy Perry wants to maintain a "positive" co-parenting relationship with Orlando Bloom, a source tells PEOPLE, saying that there's 'still a mutual respect" between the former couple.

After news of her split from the Lord of the Rings star, 48, went public on Thursday, June 26, a source tells PEOPLE that the "Teenage Dream" singer, 40, is focused on creating a positive co-parenting environment for her 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. Another source recently told PEOPLE that Bloom and his daughter spent some time together in Australia before news of his split from Perry went public. "They had special dad and daughter time," the insider said of Bloom's trip to Australia with Daisy, who was there with Perry while the singer was performing during her Lifetimes tour.
