Jared Leto Denies Allegations of Sexual Misconduct in New Report
Jared Leto has "expressly denied" the allegations of sexual misconduct toward nine women, including some who were then minors, in a new report.
Model Laura La Rue told AirMail that she first met Leto in 2008 when she was 16 — he was 36 at the time and — despite knowing her age — still asked for her number. Rumors of Leto’s impropriety have long been whispered about, with AirMail resurfacing social media allegations made by women including a Los Angeles DJ named Allie Teilz, who in 2012 wrote on Facebook, “Youre [ sic] not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… In a kilt.. And a snow hat,” and later wrote, “I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17. What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable.” (Director James Gunn and actor Dylan Crouse have also openly accused Leto of misbehavior on social media.)
