Following a difficult loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the end of the 2025 season, the all-time leading scorer of the league was asked when he is planning to retire. While pointing out that professional basketball is a “business” in the end, the Ohio native acknowledged, “You don’t know what the roster will look like next year besides the guys that [are] locked into contracts,” adding that he has “a lot to think about” now.
