Two long-established reality TV franchises are about to go head-to-head in the ratings, and we hear one of the hosts is already getting competitive.
Sam Armytage, fronting the Golden Bachelor for Channel Nine, is said to be casting nervous glances across the aisle at Ten's rising star Mel Tracina, who's hosting a revived Big Brother A video shot by an onlooker showed a reporter filming a story about a paraglider who crashed at Stanwell Park, Wollongong, and escaped with just a shoulder injury. To inject a little drama into the dispatch, the journalist positioned themselves in front of an off-camera light rig flashing ambulance colours, creating the illusion that paramedics were just out of shot.
