HMRC tells parents they can claim up to to £2,000


HMRC issued an alert on X on Wednesday

HMRC has issued a reminder that parents may be eligible for "up to £2,000 in help" with childcare costs. On Wednesday morning, the alert from the UK's tax, payments and customs authority raised awareness about this substantial financial assistance. Information provided on an accompanying link explains that parents can get up to £500 every three months, or up to £2,000 a year for each child to assist with childcare expenses.
