Hiking Influencer’s Cause of Death Revealed After Fall From Volcano


Hiking influencer Juliana Marins' death at Mount Rinjani involved internal bleeding and fractures after her fall from the crater

Juliana Marins, the hiking influencer who fell from a volcano in Indonesia on June 21, died from internal bleeding caused by damage to organs and bone fractures, an autopsy showed. Coroner Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Alit confirmed there were “no signs of hypothermia or prolonged suffering after the injury.” He estimated her time of death to be between 1 a.m. and 1 p.m. the day her body was recovered. The statement continued, “At the end of four days of work, hindered by adverse weather, terrain and visibility conditions in the region, teams from the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency found the body of the Brazilian tourist.”
