Hayden Panettiere, who died on Aug. 16, spoke about feelings of grief when it came to her motherhood journey in her memoir published in May. Panettiere, who shared daughter Kaya with former fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, said that while giving up custody made her heart ache, she was “blessed” to be Kaya’s mom.
