Halle Berry Denies Abuse Claims, Points to Absence of Injuries in Photo Taken by Her 13-Year-Old Son, Maceo

Halle Berry denies ex-husband Olivier Martinez’s claim that an image their 13-year-old son, Maceo, captured shows evidence supporting the allegations that she strangled Maceo on Sept. 26. In legal documents reviewed by PEOPLE, Berry says the injuries are “notably absent” in the image and that it shows her “standing calmly...several feet away from Maceo.”
