Greenwich Entertainment Acquires Katie Aselton’s ‘Magic Hour’


'Magic Hour,' the indie drama directed by and starring Katie Aselton, has been acquired by Greenwich Entertainment for release in theaters next year.

Daveed Diggs and Katie Aselton in 'Magic Hour'Greenwich Entertainment EXCLUSIVE: Greenwich Entertainment has acquired North American rights to Magic Hour, a new indie drama co-written, directed by and starring Katie Aselton, on the heels of its SXSW premiere, slating the film for release in theaters next year. On TV, she starred in FX’s Legion and Apple TV+’s The Morning Show; and on the big screen, in Old Dads(2023), The Unholy(2021), Bombshell(2019) and the John Lithgow and Blythe Danner feature The Tomorrow Man. Other recent acquisitions for Greenwich Entertainment include a pair of Sundance dramas — Cole Webley’s Omaha, starring John Magaro, and Love, Brooklyn, produced by and starring André Holland — as well as the documentary Angelheaded Hipster on Marc Bolan and the band T. Rex.
