GloRilla Drops Fiery New Track With BTS BigHit Collab

Surprise-release of the new track 'Killin it out now' with big names BTS under the BigHit label had GloRilla setting the Internet on fire....

The announcement visual of the single offers a shot of a car, soaked in a blaze-of-glory insanity with motion blur in horrible Black & White; fast, running on fumes, and serves as a perfect metaphor for GloRilla’s verbal flexing on how she is living that unfiltered boss life. This sure raises some eyebrows to the BTS extent, seeing that refined pop-linearity is pretty much their trademark, but if anyone can come up with a middle ground between Korean idol precision and gross Southern hip-hop swagger, it would be that woman who made GloRilla don’t stop’ an actual lifestyle. That strategic ambiguity is also to their advantage for in not over-explaining the partnership, they’ve created a kind of cultural Rorschach test wherein K-pop fans see hip-hop credibility for validation and rap purists get drawn to the genre-bending prospects.
