George Lucas to Tease New Museum at First Comic-Con Appearance

George Lucas will make his first Comic-Con San Diego appearance this year to preview the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.

Lucas and his wife, the businesswoman Melody Hobson, co-founded the Museum of Narrative Art, which is set to celebrate visual storytelling in all its forms, from painting and comics to photography and film. “His lifelong dedication to visual storytelling and world-building resonates deeply with us and our community, and the museum’s mission to celebrate narrative art in all its forms perfectly reflects what Comic-Con has championed from the very beginning.” Additional panels will be centered around highly anticipated TV shows and films like Alien: Earth, Tron: Ares, Outlander, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, King of the Hill, and Predator: Badlands.
