Fragrance du Bois launches new 'masterpiece' and perfume buffs love it

'I absolutely love this masterpiece... one of the best blind buys I've ever made. Fragrance Du Bois knocks it out of the park once again!'

It opens up with notes of pink pepper, bergamot and mandarin before delving into a heart of cedarwood and orange flower. At £295 a bottle it does have quite a luxe price point but it definitely has the potential to knock Parfums de Marly's Layton and Creed Aventus from their perch. Lucius has that clean, soapy amber note like Dior Ambre Nuit - but instead of the jammy rose, you get a fresh (slightly green) white floral from the orange blossom.
