Former NFL Player Cam Newton Wants Baby No. 9: ‘My Purpose’

Cam Newton has eight children — Chosen, Camidas, Cashmere, Sovereign Dior, Shakira, Caesar, Jaden and a baby girl born in 2024 — and wants ‘more’

Newton welcomed sons Chosen, Camidas, Cashmere and daughter Sovereign-Dior with ex-girlfriend Kia Proctor in December 2015, July 2018, September 2019 and February 2017, respectively. “I was never married but the relationship, I thought it was going toward marriage and then my partner at the time had an outside baby,” Proctor said in a September 2024 YouTube video, seemingly referring to Newton. While appearing on season 3 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Newton got candid about his transition from the NFL and how he doesn’t feel like a “superman” to his kids anymore.
