Everyone Taking the Stage at the 2025 Tony Awards
There’s drama, there’s intrigue, there’s Cynthia Erivo as host.
When Erivo was in The Color Purple on Broadway, she gave perhaps the most iconic Tony Awards performance of the 2010s (give or take a Sydney Lucas in Fun Home) when she sang “I’m Here” at the 2016 ceremony. Tony Awards performances will be from Best Musical nominees Buena Vista Social Club, Dead Outlaw, Maybe Happy Ending, Operation Mincemeat, and Death Becomes Her. Lin-Manuel Miranda, who pulled an anniversary performance from the Kennedy Center following Trump’s takeover in February, will be joined by original cast members including Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Daveed Diggs, Ariana DeBose, Jonathan Groff, and Christopher Jackson.
