Ethel Cain, Beach Fossils, Sophie Thatcher, STRFKR, and Osees are among the 100 artists who have joined forces with a campaign calling to abolish ICE. Launched by Los Angeles creative studio Ride or Cry and endorsed by 115 artists — including Samia, Acid Dad, Of Montreal, Ruth Radelet, Wisp, and dozens more — the campaign has already raised $60,000 for legal defense funds via a limited-run T-shirt available now through June 27. “What started as a small idea born out of a desire to help our community while being positioned as a team in art and entertainment, grew so much bigger than we ever could have imagined,” Stephania Dwyer, co-owner of Ride or Cry, said of the effort in a statement.
