'Grey's Anatomy' star Ellen Pompeo revealed a recent trip took a detour when airport TSA detained her over 'probably the most expensive sunflower seeds money can buy.'

Ellen Pompeo is used to playing out dramatic scenarios on the small screen, but that didn't prepare her for a recent airport experience that led to a bomb squad being called in. In an interview with Travel + Leisure, the Grey's Anatomy star recounted a recent trip during which she was detained by airport Transportation Security Administration (TSA) because of "probably the most expensive sunflower seeds money can buy." She added that her husband, music producer Chris Ivery, is "too busy watching sports" to check in on the patients and doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial.
