Some EastEnders fans are convinced they have worked out George Knight's real reason for marrying Elaine Peacock
However, some eagle-eyed fans believe they've sussed out George's (Colin Salmon) hidden agenda concerning his marriage to Queen Vic's landlady (Elaine Peacock), and it doesn't bode well. In the latest episode of EastEnders, available now on iPlayer and airing on Thursday (June 12) on BBC One, Elaine tried to resume normalcy as an unsuspecting George serenaded her, hoping to mend their fractured trust. A fan on Reddit theorised: "My theory is George is not interested in Elaine, he wants somewhere to stay with his kids and home/job it's convenient, he also wants Cindy but knows he can't play happy families with her or she will just cheat on him."
