Diddy Will Be Sentenced on Oct. 3 After Prosecution, Defense Reach Agreement

The rap mogul's lawyers formally proposed the Oct. 3 sentencing in a letter to presiding Judge Arun Subramanian, noting prosecutors and probation officers at the Southern District of New York had agreed to the schedule. Combs, who faced a nearly two-month long trial, was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, and acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Combs will remain incarcerated at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center until sentencing, where he will likely get credit for over a year of time served.
