Diddy Jury Reaches Verdict on 4 Charges, Still Deliberating 1 Count
Sean 'Diddy' Combs faces ongoing jury deliberations as a partial verdict is reached on 4 of 5 charges in his racketeering trial
The prosecution suggested Judge Arun Subramanian invoke an Allen charge, which is supplemental instruction given when a jury is unable to reach a unanimous verdict. The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs began in New York City on May 5 following his September 2024 arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy’s arrest came nearly one year after Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) filed a lawsuit against him accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship, which lasted off and on from 2007 to 2018.
