Denis Villeneuve to Direct James Bond Film, Hopefully Save Amazon MGM Franchise
Famed 'Dune' and 'Arrival' director Denis Villeneuve will lead the next James Bond Film alongside Amazon MGM.
On Wednesday, the studio announced that Villeneuve will direct the next James bond film, while also serving as executive producer alongside Tanya Lapointe. In a statement Villeneuve shared that some of his “earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007” and that he “grew up watching James Bond films with my father, ever since Dr. No with Sean Connery.” Hopkins, the head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM, added, “We are honored that Denis has agreed to direct James Bond’s next chapter.
