Coming off the tails of a DC Universe that tried its best to be adult to differentiate itself from Marvel, it’s refreshing to see an actor truly embrace the comic book whimsy that sits at the core of their character. During the chat, Corenswet dropped that he thinks it would be interested to do an R-Rated project as the Man of Steel, even if it might not be as bloody as some people might assume at first blush. While it doesn’t seem as though David Corenswet wants his version of Superman to be killing people like an executioner, it’s interesting to hear his thoughts on a more serious take on the Man of Steel.
