David Beckham stepped out at Wimbledon with Maria Sharapova days after surgery while dealing with family drama and celebrating his knighthood
The former professional soccer player’s outing comes only a few days after his wife, Victoria Beckham, shared a photo via Instagram Story of David lying in a hospital bed with his arm in a sling. Although Victoria did not specify the reason for David’s hospitalization, Us Weekly reported on Friday, June 27, that he underwent surgery to repair a broken wrist following an injury during an England game against South Africa in 2003.
