Kelly Hyland, Dance Moms star Brooke Hyland’s mom, is undergoing open heart surgery as she faces a leaking heart after cancer treatments
Appearing in a TikTok video shared on Tuesday, June 24, Brooke, 27, said that her mother, 54, who completed breast cancer treatment in August 2024, is suffering from a “leaking heart.” Less than a month after fans caught up with Kelly Hyland on the Dance Moms reunion special, the former Lifetime star revealed that she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. “She’s had a few different opinions from doctors, some say that she’s had it since she was younger and her valve just doesn’t close properly [while] others have said that it might be a side effect of the cancer because it could be a tear,” Brooke said in her TikTok.
