Coronation Street fans have been left utterly gobsmacked upon discovering the true age of Sydney Martin, the actress who brings Betsy Swain to life. Continuing with heartache this year, Betsy was devastated by boyfriend Mason Radcliffe's (Luca Toolan) death, following a stabbing at the hands of brothers Logan (Harry Lowbridge) and Matty (Seamus McGoff). Betsy made her debut last year (Image: ITV)March brought further tragedy when she was shot by the menacing Rob Donovan (Marc Bayliss), resulting in severe arm injuries from which she's recovered remarkably.
