His strategic vision, deep understanding of the theatrical business, and relentless commitment to innovation have been instrumental in shaping Cineplex into the industry leader it is today. It appeared Jacob was bound to leave Cineplex as early as 2020 when Cineworld, under the management of Mooky Greidinger, looked to take over the Great White North circuit for $2.1 billion.
