Cause of Death for Hiking Influencer Hannah Moody Revealed
Moody was found dead near the Gateway Trailhead of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale, Arizona, on May 22
“The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Air Unit located Hannah’s body around 12:05 p.m., about 600 yards off-trail,” the Scottsdale Police Department said in a statement. Moody’s body was found hundreds of yards away from the Gateway Trailhead of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 22. “On Thursday, May 22, 2025, our dear friend Hannah Moody was tragically found near the Gateway Trailhead of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale, Arizona, after being reported missing the day before,” the GoFundMe read.
