British Soap Awards moments you definitely missed including Jane McDonald warning and retakes
The British Soap Awards are back on Thursday night - but while the awards have already taken place, the show is pre-recorded and here we reveal all the action that was missed
The winners were unveiled on Saturday 31 May during the awards and red carpet event and while there were touching moments that brought stars to tears, heartfelt speeches and abundant applause, there were also off-camera incidents that probably didn't make it to air, including a delayed ceremony, boisterous crowd reactions and several retakes. It's believed that during filming, the crew struggled to hear some of the award presenters over the deafening cheers and reactions from both fans and attending soap stars. Selfies were taken, fans shouted out to their favourite soap stars from the crowd, and some cast members stepped out for a bit of fresh air or simply to take a breather.
