Billie Joe Armstrong Pauses Green Day Show to Tell Off Person in the Crowd

Billie Joe Armstrong called out a fan mid-show during a recent Green Day concert, as seen in videos captured by other concertgoers.

The video shows Green Day leading a yell-and-repeat before taking off his guitar and stepping away from the microphone to yell at and point at a person in the crowd. The band will conclude their extensive run in late September with shows at Ohana Fest on Sept. 28 and a one-off concert at Yaamava Theatre in SoCal on Sept. 30. Most recently, he posted an Instagram video filmed from one of the Los Angeles protests, captioned with a flipping-the-bird emoji and an ice cube.
