Bill Maher Will in Fact Receive Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize for Humor, After Trump’s White House Called It ‘Fake News’
The White House last week said it was "fake news" that Bill Maher would receive this year's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor from the Kennedy Center. On Thursday, the Trump-controlled Kennedy Center announced that, in fact, Maher -- who's been a frequent critic of President Trump and his administration -- will be the recipient of the honor.
