Beyoncé Brings ‘16 Carriages’ Back to Cowboy Carter Tour — But With a New Ride

Beyoncé’s "16 Carriages" made its return to the Cowboy Carter Tour Thursday, but with a golden horse in place of the malfunctioning red Cadillac.

Beyoncé ’s “16 Carriages” made its grand return to the Cowboy Carter Tour Thursday, weeks after a performance of the track left the singer suspended over the crowd in a malfunctioning red car. Following the viral incident, Beyoncé removed “16 Carriages” from the setlist for her next three concerts, but the Cowboy Carter track was back in its usual slot Thursday for the singer’s Atlanta concert, albeit with one significant change: Instead of riding around the stadium in a glittering red Cadillac, Beyoncé instead sat atop a golden mechanical horse that galloped over the crowd as she delivered the track. The singer and her new horse have two more shows scheduled in Atlanta, Friday and Sunday night, before the Cowboy Carter Tour moves to Las Vegas later this month.
