We found some of the best stylish central London hotels to inspire your next city break to see the capital highlights, from Mayfair and Marylebone to Trafalgar Square and Hyde Park

Individual rooms can be booked, as you would a traditional hotel, but where it really shines is as a single-use venue, which has been used for everything from hen parties and small weddings to London boltholes for rock stars and their entourages playing at the Royal Albert Hall. The main entrance to the tall art deco-style building featured an archway of flowers, and after a warm greeting at reception, we headed upstairs to enjoy the hotel’s complimentary cocktail hour drinks up in the Club Lounge. The art deco decor continues with mirrored walls, deep teal velvet armchairs tucked into a small bay window, and a marble bathroom stocked with Molton Brown toiletries.
