BBC EastEnders fans distracted by Stacey Slater plot hole during Zoe's return
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) returned to EastEnders on Tuesday following the arrival of her cousin Zoe Slater who made a shock return after 20 years away from Walford
The BBC soap legend, played by Michelle Ryan, made a much-anticipated reappearance after 20 years in Monday's episode following a number of mysterious clues. On Tuesday, a huge row broke out with Stacey, who accused Zoe of stealing her credit card and using her money to buy booze and vapes. Despite the intrigue over Zoe's return to Walford after 20 years, some fans couldn't help but question how Stacey suddenly seems to be rolling in cash, given her usual struggles with the bap van and keeping the Slater family finances in check.
