Arista Records Names Clio Massey and Matt D’Arduini Co-Presidents
Sony Music has named Clio Massey and Matt D’Arduini as co-presidents of Arista Records, succeeding David Massey, who confirmed his retirement in April
Arista’s roster includes Måneskin and the current solo album from its lead singer Damiano David, JP Saxe, Paul Russell, Lola Brooke, Jonah Kagen and Sunday (1994). Clio Massey most recently served as general manager for Work of Art Publishing and vice president of A&R at Arista. Arista Records was founded by Clive Davis in 1974 and over the years has released blockbuster and/or critically lauded albums by such artists as Whitney Houston, the Kinks, Patti Smith, the Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana, Barry Manilow, Aretha Franklin, Lou Reed and many others.
