Sadly, the beloved chef passed away at her home in Brooklyn on June 17, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving fans and colleagues around the world in mourning. “Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile lit up every room she entered,” Burrell’s family’s statement read, according to People. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, she also studied Italian cuisine in Tuscany and worked in several high-profile New York restaurants before rising to TV fame.
