Anne Burrell will be honored at the Taste of Fame fundraiser, celebrating her culinary legacy and contributions before her passing
Gelman’s statement explained that in “honor of Anne’s life and her remarkable contributions to the culinary world, this year’s Taste of Fame event will include a special tribute celebrating her legacy.” A representative from the New York City Police Department later told Us that the celebrity chef was pronounced dead “at the scene” after authorities responded to a 911 call which led to the discovery of “an unconscious and unresponsive” female. The Worst Cooks in America star took the stage for her debut improv comedy show in Brooklyn on Monday, June 16, hours before news of her death broke.
